My name is Romeo, and in my short four years I have become a seasoned traveler! Originally found traveling the streets of Texas, I made the long trip to the mountains of North Georgia when a nice lady there offered to be my foster mom.

Folks don’t know a lot about my life prior to January 2024, but here’s what they’ve been saying about me recently:

I’m a total love bug! I will stretch out on the floor and let you love on me all day long.

I have the most soulful eyes! My foster mom says I’m an “old soul”.

I’m already neutered. I don’t know what that means, but they said something about no more babies being made by me. That means I’m one of a kind and someone should snatch me up quickly!

My foster mom says I am by far the best dog she has ever walked on a leash. I just want to stay right by her side!  She takes good care of me so I don’t want to lose her.

I love all people!

I like other dogs too, and all I want to do is play with them. I’m 95 pounds though, and can get quite exuberant during playtime, so small dogs and small children might not be a good fit for me.

I am crate trained, and will go in to get a treat if you toss one in the back.

I am working on my house skills. If I’m left alone too long, I get bored and find things to get into or chew. I stop when my foster mom tells me to though.  I also tried to water my crate and my foster mom told me not to do that inside, to go do “my business” outside. I prefer that anyway because when I’m done I like to do Zoomies.

I recently went to see someone they call “the vet”. My foster mom said she was so proud of me. I was the perfect gentleman, even when they trimmed my toenails.

I love my time in the yard, but when playtime is over I want nothing more than to come inside and keep you company.

If you are looking for a tall, dark and handsome man, I’m your perfect gentleman!
