Are you looking for an incredibly adorable puppy? Look no further because you just found her! Here name is Cotton. She was born on July 2nd and then taken to the San Antonio, TX shelter, along with her mom and siblings. Fortunately for Cotton and the rest of her family, we have a few volunteers who worked together to get them out of the shelter and to their foster home in Lawton, OK. Cotton and her mom Khaleesi, along with her brothers and sisters are the first of our pups to be fostered in Oklahoma. Cotton is a Golden Lab/Rottweiler mix and as adorable and sweet as can be. We will likely not have puppies like her for quite a while once her and her siblings are adopted.

Cotton is your typical puppy. At less than a month old, she’s just starting to figure out life and playing with her siblings. At such a young age, she is good with all people, kids, dogs and cats. She will make a great addition to any family looking for a puppy to train and grow up with the family. Cotton will be available for adoption soon, but we are currently taking adoption applications.

SSRR is extremely protective of all of our rescues, but in particular we strive to be sure that puppies are raised properly to avoid any future behavior problems. Our puppies will only be adopted to a home where they will get plenty of love and attention, as well as exercise and training—everything that is needed for them to develop into a socialized and well-behaved adult.

The adoption donation fee for puppies is $300 and is a tax-deductible donation to SSRR, which is a 501c3. The puppies are up to date on vaccines and worming. For puppies too young to be spayed/neutered before their adoption, this must be done when age-appropriate (approx. 6 months).  The spaying and neutering of all dogs is a strict requirement of SSRR.  When this surgery has been completed, the adopters of young puppies will be provided a flat fee reimbursement to be applied to the cost of the spay or neuter.
