I'm Copper and I'm a hound dog! Bow wow wow!!" - Copper, Disneys The Fox & The Hound.

That's me! I'm a bundle of sweetness and fun just like the movie character! I'm a young Rottweiler/hound/Shepherd? mix who is SO ready for my forever home. I'm not sure there is such thing as the more perfect dog! At least that's what my foster mom keeps saying about me.

I came to SSRR as a stray from rural Georgia where I was kicking it with my sister and we were getting love and food from the locals. They thought we deserved better so they got us into rescue and my sister has already found her forever home (lucky!). I am still waiting, but perhaps my forever home is with you!

Here's what I can tell you about myself. I've made great friends in my foster home, my old dude big brother and I get along really well, and I respect the fact that's he's not up to playing very often. My cat sister and I are decent friends, I like to chase her (nicely!) and we play hide and seek, and my best friend is just a little younger than me and we live across the hall from each other and we play pretty darn rough. My foster mom and I get along VERY well. She tells everyone how incredibly sweet I am and she loves that my big fluffy tail never stops wagging. She tells me I have such a sweet face and that I am a lover.

I love to lay in bed with her (she doesn't let me on the couch, fooey.) and be lazy and I also love to go for a good run at the dog park and play with new friends. She also tells me all the time how smart I am, I am always willing to learn new tricks and am very willing to please. Something fun I do is howl at the sirens that go by our house. Mom says it's the cutest! I sit politely when she puts my leash on, and I always sit politely waiting for the 'OK' to eat my meals. I'm all house trained and I am crate trained too! Mom tells me I truly am a catch. I do hope my forever family comes forward soon. I am growing up so fast and just want to do it with them! Perhaps that is you? I can't wait!!!
