Don loves going for car rides and walks. He loves meeting new people. He is a nap champion and won't miss a good nap for anything. He's not aggressive about toys or his food bowl at all. He's an all around awesome dog with the exception of the seperation anxiety and messing in the house when he percieves he's been left alone. I use the crate and he happily goes in it during the day and will lay down on his own accord. He has proven to be cat sat. I adopted a small adult female cat and he's awesome with her. He licks her head and gives her baths. She walks all over him if he's in the way and it's no bother to big Don. He's coming from a quiet house with a retiree and 2 geriatrics and I think he'd like a house on the quieter side of things. Maybe not 1 with little kids running around causing chaos, teenagers would be fine.
Don is a very sweet, sensitive guy that can't get enough love. He's quite the velcro dog! He does well on a leash but he’s still working on perfecting it. He'll pull when he gets excited still but not too bad and he's easy to correct. He's house trained, but best to keep an eye on him still for a while longer. He is excellent on car rides. You wouldn't know he was in the back seat. He's been to the groomer and did fantastic! He even let them use the dryer, Dremel his nails and clean out his ears...no worries for this big boy. He not a big fan of the crate but he's been such a good dog that he's been allowed to be loose with no issues. The couch is Don’s spot and he is quite a couch potato!! He's does great meeting people and other dogs.

Overall, Don is an awesome dog that deserves his forever family and all the spoiling he can stand. He'll gladly repay you with all the kisses and cuddles you'll ever need.
