Boozer is NOT an SSRR dog. He is posted here as a courtesy. If you would like additional information on Boozer, please contact his owner, Joseph, at  voncannon2@gmail.com .

Boozer is a very energetic boy that loves to play (any toy will do, but he loves to chase a ball). He can be unsure of new things, but is very inquisitive and warms up to things quickly. Boozer was a stray that wandered onto the property, and has since been vetted (did wonderful for his exam), vaccines updated (DHLPP, Bordetella, Rabies), is heartworm negative, and negative for intestinal parasites (with 2 rounds of panacur administered).

Boozer is not great with other animals or small children.  He is okay with lower-energy dogs of a similar size as him, but does not like other dogs that are high-energy or in his personal space.  He also has a very good prey drive, and will chase smaller animals in the household.  And Boozer gets very excited around small children and cannot stop himself from jumping on them, which in turn scares them.

Otherwise, he is a very lovable boy that wants to please his owner.  He loves playing with his toys, and his favorite thing to do is chase a ball around.  He is housebroken, kennel trained, and walks well on a leash (just needs work on his manners when meeting others).
