Hi! My name is Vale as in Valentine..my mom calls me Valley Girl cause I'm so pretty and fun and sweet! I was rescued from a kill shelter, sight unseen, and taken to a vet to get spayed and eyelash surgery. They were growing inwards, so he fixed my eyelids so the lashes grow out and now I have beautiful sweet brown eyes without any irritation!

Since being here, I am the happiest of girls and I love to play. I’m potty trained, but I can't stand being in a crate. So I roam the bedroom comfortably and I don't cause any problems. I gotta protect the home, you know!! I do share a space with this little dog that does not like me being around. Apparently, she used to like Rotties when she was a puppy, but now she is so spoiled, she can't share our mom and she doesn't like me one bit. I put up with her little growls at me and I don't like to snap back, but sometimes she gets on my nerves. I would never hurt her, just scare her a little! haha.

I love to eat! I could eat and eat and eat. I even sit by my bag of food if left on the floor just so no one will mess with it until mommy puts it in my food bin. While I'm eating, my mom likes to hug me and play with my wiggling tail, I don't mind.

My mom's friends call me Velcro Vale b/c where she goes I go. AND I like to lean on her while she's walking. They laugh at her, but I make sure she knows I love her and will always be on her side...literally! She rubs my head while we walk and I love that. You can tell, because my little nubbin of a tail is constantly wiggling!

I have been trained by professionals at Man's Best Friend in Carrolton, TX and the benefits from that are that I get free training for life and a 10% discount on boarding. So if I get adopted in this area then you can use that since it goes with me. I’m very smart and so far I've learned to heel, sit, stay, come, paw, other paw, up, and my favorite, "outside!" for potty and play time. They love me there and I love it there too. Playtime is great and everyone gives me hugs and kisses!

Unfortunately, the little dog that was here previously prevails, and I am looking for a home with a large yard to play in and chase bubbles! I would probably like my own owner since I'm in such need for hugs, attention, petting, and love.
